The Amunategi farmhouse and its 17,000-square-meter vineyards are located on a gentle south-facing slope, which has as its valley bottom the marshes of the Urdaibai Biosphere Reserve. From the vineyards, the Oiz and Ilunzar mountains can be seen on the horizon, which represent the highest peaks of the Urdaibai hydrographic basin, and the closest mountains of San Miguel de Ereñozar and San Pedro de Atxarre.
